Sheffield experienced the amazing Drum & Bass on a Bike, a mass cycle ride on one of the sunniest days in October 2023. Dom Whiting, a motor technician from High Wycombe, has entertained towns and cities across Britain, and the Sheffield event did not disappoint. His specially adapted DJ bicycle was joined by hundreds of people. Bubbles, confetti, coloured smoke and good humour followed the route around the city. Sheffield has a history of mass cycle rides going back to the early 20th century, including Critical Mass, an international celebration of the bicycle meeting outside Sheffield Town Hall at 6pm on the last Friday of each month.
