Sheffield Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid has condemned the Government for the new ban on Palestine Action despite huge public opposition. Their statement says that the ban threatens all of our freedoms and democratic rights. The campaign for Palestinians’ right to self-determination and the very right to exist continues. This means ending Israel’s settler colonial project, genocide, ethnic cleansing, occupation and apartheid, and stopping all trade with Israel, including the arms trade.

The statement also gives helpful guidance so that activists can make their own decision on campaigning tactics, aware of potential consequences, from NETPOL (The Network for Police Monitoring).
