Curated by Site Gallery’s Creative Producers, Stories We Carry is a short-film programme sharing Black stories from across the UK, part of Black History Month. The films explore the many experiences that shape Black Britain.

The screening is a collaboration offering local care-experienced young people a public platform to develop and showcase their skills.

Followed by a Q&A with the Creative Producers.

All tickets to Showroom Cinema’s Black History Month 2026 events are £5. The cinema has wheelchair-accessible public areas, wheelchair spaces, accessible toilets and free companion tickets, and is a few minutes from Sheffield railway and bus stations.
