Migration Matters Festival is proud to be in its tenth year. A big achievement for this major landmark on the calendar of Sheffield, the country’s first City of Sanctuary. It’s a volunteer-run annual celebration of the positive impact in Sheffield of migrants, diaspora, refugees and asylum seekers, which has been popular, influential and great fun. This year’s Refugee Week theme of “Community as a Superpower” is reflected in a huge line-up of events range from music to poetry, talks to comedy, and of course community meals.
