A one-day, hands-on workshop, on building and sustaining a community-focused collective with humanity, vision and mission, and understanding of governance, and financial planning and funding. Learn sustainable, values-led ways of working, and connect with others navigating similar challenges. Researcher and creative practitioner Maia Ardalla, with interdisciplinary design studio RESOLVE Collective, present insights into running a community-focused collective practice, for anyone involved in community arts and culture in Sheffield, whether just starting out, or already running an organisation.

The session was first delivered in Brixton in 2025 and developed as a learning programme for Queer Circle in spring 2026. and it is now offered by Gut Level, a Sheffield community/arts organisation.Tickets are free but will be quickly booked up.
