South Yorkshire Climate Alliance (SYCA) is preparing for their AGM in October, with the aim of raising £10,000 to fund work for another year:

£2,000 to support volunteers to get active in their communities – e.g. booking a stall at a community fair, or printing a leaflet.
£2,000 to increase impact by connecting with national and regional climate campaigns and projects with partners.
£4,000 to pay a worker to create newsletters and reach new communities across South Yorkshire.
£2,000 to keep their website and social media presence running, to share news, events and achievements.

Around 1000 people receive the SYCA newsletter each month, and over 60 organisations and projects have signed up as allies, the LocalGiving web link below indicate progress towards the £10,000 target.
