Sheffield Skeptics in the Pub offers its first public meeting of 2026, on the subject of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Introduced by David Raho, a Criminology researcher who is examining AI and practices for released prisoners across England, Wales, Brazil and Japan. He also has practical experience working in “His Majesty’s” Prison and Probation Service, and the Probation Institute.

Sheffield Skeptics in the Pub hold talks regularly at Farm Road Sports & Social Club, usually in the back room (through the main bar). Press the buzzer to be let in. The talks are free but a donation of £3 per person is politely requested, to cover costs.
