Sheffield company 1889 Books is publishing Samuel Holberry: revolutionary democrat 1814-1842 this month, recounting the astonishing life of an early activist, now buried in Sheffield General Cemetery. Samuel Holberry fought all his life to challenge the many arrogant injustices against the working class. He is regarded as a local hero, and there is a Samuel Holberry Society.
